Finsbury Park developed around the railway interchanges that border the North London Boroughs of Islington, Hackney and Haringey. The actual park, from which the area takes its name is in the neighbourhood of Harringay in the borough of Hornsey and postcode area N4. The areas surrounding Finsbury Park are more cosmopolitan with several shopping areas. These include Seven Sisters Road and Stroud Green Road. For football fans, the main attraction is Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium which is nearby. Finsbury Park Station is located to the south of the park, and links the area to central London via bus, tube and overground rail.
