Mitcham is an area in south west London, situated in the borough of Merton.
Mitcham is a spacious and leafy suburb of London, with plenty to do. A stroll around the pond on Mitcham common is enviable, and the other former-Surrey districts of Merton, Wimbledon and Morden also offer recreational activities. Sport fans passing through may want to pop by Mitcham Cricket Green, the oldest cricket ground in use today.
Homes in Mitcham are varied and come in all shapes and sizes. Properties range from detached bungalows, with garages and gardens, to family-sized terraced houses. Due to a lesser strain on space than in central London, there are also spacious detached and semi-detached houses on the market as well. For younger demographics, there are plenty of flats on the market, some of which are converted period homes.
Mitcham is attractive for commuters due to its strong transport links. Mitcham Junction station has Thameslink service, although the nearby Tooting Broadway station may be a better bet, with Northern Line service into the city centre.
Mitcham, and the CR4 postcode, is well serviced by experienced cleaners on the Housekeep platform. These cleaners are background-checked and vetted, to ensure a 5-star clean is delivered at every visit.
