As a business, Housekeep was named Property Tech Company of the Year, recognising the smart technology that Housekeep has built to deliver housework that works. Describing the win, judges commented on Housekeep’s “impressive expansion” into the tradespeople sector, and recognised the “real difference for users and the environment” that Housekeep’s technology is making.
Housekeep’s CEO & Founder, Avin Rabheru MBE, was also named the UK’s Tech Entrepreneur of the Year. The judges specifically mentioned Avin’s response to the challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and praised the way that Avin is “successfully expanding the business into new verticals”. They were also impressed by the “excellent technology” that Housekeep has built to support the expansion into end of tenancy cleaning, deep cleaning & tradespeople services.
The annual UK Business Tech Awards is always one of the highlights of the year – bringing together the UK’s best tech businesses, of all shapes and sizes. Their awards recognise innovative technology-based businesses – from startups to scale-ups to big tech businesses. In previous years, Housekeep has picked up a number of coveted prizes at these awards, including winning Tech Company of the Year (small), Tech Company of the Year (medium) and Most Impressive Growth. We’re chuffed to have two more to add to the trophy cabinet.
