We’re thrilled to announce that Housekeep’s Founder & CEO, Avin Rabheru MBE, has been shortlisted for the Established Business of the Year award (London) at this year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA).
Known as the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship,” these prestigious awards celebrate the most exceptional and inspiring business stories across the UK. For the Established Business of the Year award, judges are looking for businesses that have not only overcome the challenges of entrepreneurship but have thrived.
This year's nomination recognises Housekeep’s incredible growth and impact on the home cleaning industry. Avin launched Housekeep back in 2014 with just one cleaner and £5,000. Since then, Housekeep has become the market leader in home cleaning, delivering over 2 million weekly & fortnightly house cleans, with a 4.9* rating across London, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton.
Having swept up in the cleaning industry, Housekeep is now rapidly expanding into tradesperson services including electricians, plumbers, gardeners and more on their mission to ‘own the home’.
Avin has a sparkling track record at the GBEA, having took home the Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2024 and both the regional and national Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year titles in 2019.
A huge congratulations to Avin, as well as all the other finalists this year. We’ll be cheering Avin on as the finals approach!
