Housekeep sweeps into Oxford and Cambridge

Housekeep continues its national expansion with the rollout of cleaning services into more major UK cities.

We're excited to announce we've expanded our regular cleaning service into Oxford and Cambridge — two of the UK's most dynamic university cities — as we continue our mission to 'own the home' across the UK. This means even more customers can now book reliable, high-quality regular cleaning through Housekeep in their area.

This expansion follows a year of strong national growth for Housekeep - building on the launch of Regular Cleaning in Manchester and Bristol, our nationwide rollout of End of Tenancy Cleaning and Plumbing services, and last month's expansion of Gardening Services across ManchesterBristol and Brighton.

Before we launched Housekeep, the UK's £5bn home cleaning industry was fundamentally broken. Customers struggled to find someone they could trust. And cleaners took on jobs scattered across entire cities, wasting hours travelling when they could be earning. So we started Housekeep - with £5,000, one cleaner, and a handful of customers in London. Fast forward to today, customers have used Housekeep to book over 2 million cleans, earning an average 4.9-star rating from users right across the country.

This expansion creates new opportunities for cleaners based in both cities. Our in-house proprietary job allocation and route optimisation technology schedules work within dense local areas, cutting travel time and eliminating 'dead hours' from a cleaners day. By keeping schedules tight and local, we'll help Oxford and Cambridge cleaners earn 50% more than any other platform.

Housekeep's founder and CEO Avin Rabheru MBE said: "Oxford and Cambridge are perfect cities for our Housekeep model - dense, busy communities where our model works perfectly. For residents, it means access to vetted, local cleaners. For cleaners, it means regular, well-paid work on their doorstep, putting more money in their pockets."
