Twickenham is a suburban town in the South West London borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Twickenham has a rich history in sport, with the world’s largest rugby stadium, Twickenham Stadium, regularly hosting matches for up to 82,000 fans. The historic stadium has been open for over a century now, and is the home ground for England national fixtures, as well as selected domestic club fixtures. As England hosted the Rugby World Cup in both 1991 and 2015, the stadium was the ground for both of these finals.
