Local information about Charlton

Located within South East London’s Royal Borough of Greenwich, Charlton maintains the atmosphere of a village in the City! Notable for being the home of Charlton Athletic F.C., as well as Charlton Manor, the area has plenty to offer the recreational visitor and home-maker alike.

Plenty of period properties are available on the local property market, many of which are larger and more family-friendly than the terraced houses in inner-city boroughs. Social housing and purpose built flats also contribute to the varied housing stock of the area.

Canning Street, Greenwich and Charing Cross are all easily accessible from Charlton thanks to frequent train service through Charlton railway station. There are, of course, plenty of great bus routes in the area for more local travel too.

Charlton, which encompasses the entirety of the SE7 postcode, is serviced on a daily basis by cleaners on the Housekeep platform. With great previous cleaning experience and 5-star ratings, these Housekeepers have availability for one-off, weekly or fortnightly cleaning.
