Housekeep shortlisted for the UK Business Tech Awards 2022

Housekeep has been shortlisted for Property Tech Company of the Year at this year’s UK Business Tech Awards. Our Founder & CEO, Avin Rabheru MBE, is also in the running for Tech Entrepreneur of the Year.

The award that Housekeep has been shortlisted for, Property Tech Company of the Year, is aiming to recognise the UK’s leading PropTech Company. We've been shortlisted for our work in fixing the broken home cleaning market, matching customers with highly-rated, local cleaners, while helping cleaners earn more - thanks to our in-house job allocation & route optimisation technologies.

The Tech Entrepreneur of the Year category is looking to celebrate a tycoon ‘with the x-factor’. Avin's on the shortlist for his work spearheading Housekeep's success. Avin launched the business with one cleaner & £5000 of his own money. He's since grown Housekeep to the UK's biggest home cleaning service, delivering 1.5 million cleans, with a 4.9* average rating. Avin's always shown a commitment to genuinely improving the lives of Housekeep's users – an approach that saw him awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours list at the start of this year.

This shortlisting continues our run of success at the UKBTA. We’ve previously won Most Impressive Growth (2018), Tech Company of the Year: Small (2019) & Tech Company of the Year: Medium (2021) during previous iterations of these awards. And we’ve got everything crossed for another victory this year 🤞

Winners will be announced at a ceremony here in London in October this year. We’re looking forward to rubbing shoulders with other leading tech companies from across the UK at the event.

In the meantime, congratulations & best of luck to all of the other nominees.
