Colindale is a suburban area, situated on the Brent/Barnet border, in North West London. As well as being a residential district popular with commuters, the area is also home to the RAF Museum which is located on the site of the Hendon Aerodrome. Interestingly, it was Lawrence of Arabia’s time at the Aerodrome that led to his decision to write under the pseudonym ‘Colin Dale’.
