Gas safety inspections & certificates

As part of your gas safety check, an experienced Gas Safe registered professional will complete a thorough inspection of all gas appliances in the property to ensure they're safe and secure. This includes:

Inspecting pipework and checking the tightness
Confirming the boiler flues & any vents are working as intended
Ensuring the pressure is correct for each appliance
Assessing that all gas appliances are safely installed & appropriate for the rooms they're in
Recommending remedial work to address any issues, and advising on any appliances that shouldn't be used until repaired

Then they'll issue a Gas Safety Certificate for each gas appliance in the property.

What is a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate – and is it the same as a CP12?

A Landlord Gas Certificate is a certificate that every landlord or commercial property owner needs to obtain every year, if their property has any gas appliances. You need to have a certificate for each gas appliance in the property.

The certificate confirms that the appliance (boiler, gas hob etc.) has been checked and is safe for your tenants to use.

CP12 is an old name for a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate. While it's not the official name for this kind of certificate anymore, lots of people still refer to them as CP12s.

How does pricing work?

You pay a minimum one hour callout charge for boiler a Gas Safety Assessment & Certificate.

If it takes more than one hour to complete your assessment, you’ll be charged for the additional time in 30 min increments.

How are your tradespeople vetted and accredited?

All of our gas safety certificates are issued by Gas Safe Registered engineers.

We also collect reviews and feedback after every job to make sure our tradespeople are 5* quality.

Are your tradespeople fully insured?

Yes - all of our tradespeople are fully insured.

Do you have emergency tradespeople available?

We're not able to offer any same-day emergency boiler repair services.
